দু’দুবার বেলাইন করার চেষ্টা, তৎপর লোকো পাইলটের কারণে রক্ষা পেল রাজধানী ও কাঠগোদাম এক্সপ্রেস
উত্তরপ্রদেশের হরদোইয়ে সোমবার সন্ধ্যায় বড়সড় দুর্ঘটনার হাত থেকে রক্ষা পেল দুই এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেন। রেললাইনের ওপর কাঠের গুঁড়ি ফেলে রাজধানী এক্সপ্রেস ও কাঠগোদাম এক্সপ্রেসকে বেলাইন করার চেষ্টা করে দুষ্কৃতীরা।
দিল্লি থেকে ডিব্রুগড়গামী রাজধানী এক্সপ্রেস যখন ডালেলনগর ও উমরতলি স্টেশনের মাঝামাঝি পৌঁছয়, তখন ট্রেনচালক লাইনের উপর কিছু পড়ে থাকতে দেখে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে ইমার্জেন্সি ব্রেক কষে ট্রেন থামিয়ে দেন। পরে দেখা যায়, কাঠের গুঁড়ি ফেলে রেলপথ আটকানো হয়েছে। চালক নিজের হাতে সেগুলি সরিয়ে পুলিশে খবর দেন।
প্রথম নাশকতার চেষ্টাটি ব্যর্থ হলে কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই কাঠগোদাম এক্সপ্রেসকে একইভাবে থামানোর চেষ্টা হয়। সেক্ষেত্রেও চালকের তৎপরতায় বড় বিপদ এড়ানো সম্ভব হয়।
মঙ্গলবার সকালে পুলিশ জানায়, এই দুই ঘটনায় এখনও পর্যন্ত কাউকে গ্রেফতার করা যায়নি। তবে তদন্ত জারি রয়েছে। রেল প্রশাসনও ঘটনাটিকে অত্যন্ত গুরুত্ব সহকারে দেখছে।
