নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতা, বোলপুর :- বোলপুরের রবীন্দ্রবিথী বাইপাস সংলগ্ন এলাকায় কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনীর কড়া নিরাপত্তায় আয়কর দপ্তরের হানা। বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল থেকেই তল্লাশি অভিযান শুরু হয় একটি বেসরকারি অর্থ লগ্নি সংস্থার উচ্চপদস্থ আধিকারিক আনারুল ইসলামের বাড়িতে। সূত্রের খবর, আনারুল ইসলামের বিরুদ্ধে কোটি কোটি টাকার প্রতারণার অভিযোগ উঠেছে।
আনারুল ইসলাম, বীরভূমের লাভপুর থানার ঠিবা অঞ্চলের কাজীপাড়া গ্রামের বাসিন্দা। তিনি দীর্ঘদিন ধরে ‘LFS Booking Pvt. Ltd’ ও ‘PMS Pvt. Ltd’ নামে সংস্থার মাধ্যমে শেয়ার বাজারে বিনিয়োগ ও উচ্চ মুনাফার লোভ দেখিয়ে সাধারণ মানুষের কাছ থেকে টাকা তুলছিলেন। অভিযোগ, শুধুমাত্র বোলপুর এলাকা থেকেই আনুমানিক ৭০ থেকে ৮০ কোটি টাকা সাধারণ মানুষের কাছ থেকে সংগ্রহ করা হয়েছে।
স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা যায়, আনারুলের জীবনযাপন ছিল অত্যন্ত বিলাসবহুল। দামি গাড়ি, প্রাসাদোপম বাড়ি ও ঘনঘন বিদেশ ভ্রমণ ছিল তার দৈনন্দিনের অংশ। অথচ, বহু মানুষ এখনও তাদের জমা রাখা টাকার কোনো ফেরত পাননি। প্রতিশ্রুতি দেওয়া সত্ত্বেও বিনিয়োগের টাকাও ফেরত না পাওয়ায় চরম ক্ষুব্ধ সাধারণ মানুষ।
আয়কর দপ্তরের আধিকারিকরা বর্তমানে তার বাড়ির নথিপত্র, ল্যাপটপ, মোবাইল, এবং আর্থিক লেনদেন সংক্রান্ত যাবতীয় তথ্য খতিয়ে দেখছেন। অভিযানে কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনীর উপস্থিতি ঘিরে এলাকায় চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়েছে। জনমানসে উত্তেজনা চরমে—দ্রুত গ্রেফতার ও দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তির দাবি জানিয়েছেন প্রতারিত বিনিয়োগকারীরা।
এ বিষয়ে আয়কর দপ্তর বা কেন্দ্রীয় তদন্তকারী সংস্থার তরফে এখনও পর্যন্ত কোনও আনুষ্ঠানিক বিবৃতি দেওয়া হয়নি।
